Diabetes Education

We can provide diabetes services for caregivers and patients, including a complete Powerpoint presentation describing the basics of diabetes as well as insulin administration techniques.

In addition, we always have a supply of Free Meters available for caregivers and nurses to keep on hand, as well as instruction on how to use the meters. Free Meters are also available to your staff and family members for personal use if they have diabetes.

"Free Meters for retail (walk-in) customers\patients are for diabetics only and require a prescription from a physician and the purchase of 50 or 100 strips.  Strips may be billed to insurance if you have a valid prescription from your doctor.  Free Meters for long term care facilities, nurses, doctors, group homes, boarding homes and caregivers tending to their patients in the above facilities are exempt from this requirement.  In order to bill any insurance plan for any strips for any patient, a written prescription is required for each patient.  Your doctor may FAX us the prescription. This offer is contingent upon the availability of the free meters provided to us from the various manufacturers that supply the meters and we under no obligation to provide free meters if we don't have them in stock. Limit one meter per household and no rain checks."
